sharonmg  > Local Places of Interest > Beacon Hill Photo Walks Tour
Photo Walk tours combine a historic stroll around a Boston neighborhood with useful suggestions on how to get interesting shots of oft-photographed neighborhoods. Note that you're not going to get much advice on exposure, shutter speed and other camera settings; this is about finding interesting subjects and compositions. Even with those limits, though, I definitely found the tour worth the time and money. It was fun! And I liked the photographic results. I hope to go for the Back Bay tour sometime soon.

sharonmg > The tour starts at the Shaw Memorial. Instead of trying to get the whole memorial into the photo, losing emotional impact, she encourages you to move closer and also focus in on some details.
