Photo Walk tours combine a historic stroll around a Boston neighborhood with useful suggestions on how to get interesting shots of oft-photographed neighborhoods. Note that you're not going to get much advice on exposure, shutter speed and other camera settings; this is about finding interesting subjects and compositions. Even with those limits, though, I definitely found the tour worth the time and money. It was fun! And I liked the photographic results. I hope to go for the Back Bay tour sometime soon.

Guide Saba Alhadi encourages tour participants to shoot at creative angles and take advantage of reflections. (She spends less time on camera settings; the sky was actually blown out in my original shot, which I fixed in PhotoShop.) I definitely like the combination of shooting upwards and at an angle here.
I think this is Acorn Street on Beacon Hill, a street narrow enough where you can get a good shot with both sides.
